Our Research

GACIA has established deep partnerships with universities and research institutes, set up the Ph.D research stations.

GACIA R&D and Testing Center of Circuit Breaker, integrating traditional circuit breakers with next-gen technologies, including sensors, edge computing, and big data. We have successfully developed 6 major digital products, such as IoT smart circuit breakers and digital-chip arc-fault circuit breakers.

Testing Center

We are a CNAS-certified laboratory with 179 testing equipments and the capability to perform 83 test types. From materials and components to finished products, we deliver only the highest-quality results.

28 Day Reliablity Test

Circuit breakers undergo a 28-day environmental/durability test to simulate long-term exposure or accelerated aging and confirm that appearance, insulation and operational reliability meet standards under harsh conditions.

EMC Test

The Electromagnetic Compatibility test comprehensively evaluates electromagnetic emissions and immunity, confirming that the breaker functions reliably in its electromagnetic environment without causing unacceptable interference.

Electrical Life Test

The Electrical Life Test is intended to assess and verify the stability and compliance of the MCB's electrical components.

Short Circuit Breaking Capacity Test

The circuit breakers are subjected to short circuit conditions to evaluate the stability and conformity of their tripping performance.

Dielectric, Shock and Type B Leakage Test

Insulation resistance, impulse voltage resistance and type B leakage test of circuit breakers.

Aging and AC/DC Delay Flow Test

Verifying the aging behavior of electronic components / Measuring the DC overcurrent time-delay characteristics.

Residual Current Test

The circuit breakers are tested in simulated situations where leakage current reaches a defined level, and to assess the stability and conformity of its tripping performance under those conditions.

Temperature Rise Test

Temperature-rise test verifies how ambient and operating temperatures affect the operation of the MCBs, and the stability and conformity of their components.
